As a brand new blogger, I am still feeling my way. I had hoped to add all sorts of interesting bits and pieces – but here is the gen on myself.

I write. I am a published author.

I live in Australia, in New South Wales, near Taree on the Lower Mid North Coast.

But that’s not the only thing that makes me who I am.

I teach piano and violin/viola. I am a stall-holder at my local markets. (Wingham Farmer’s Market and Bobin Market). I give inspirational talks to schools and of course, I sell my books. These are the main areas in which I create my income. I’m also a WWOOF (www.facebook.com/WWOOFingAustralia) host and love meeting all the visitors to this country.

At home, I sew, I cook and I garden. I believe in being as self-sufficient as is possible in our society.

Over the next few months, I’ll be posting some information about my books as well as favourite recipes and all sorts of handy hints for the home as well as the garden.
